Bodies against the grainy sand,
Rustle of branches as magpies shift from one to another,
Soft swishes of white ocean foam creeping into shore,
In oblivious bliss; darkness surrounds,
The only light emanating from the full moon,
Glowering upon the island sea,
Like a proud guardian angel it shone,
Casting shadows from two bodies,
Side by side,
He and she lay,
Absorbing every heartbeat,
Of God’s worldly gift to them,
Engulf they did,
While Earth rotated at sloth’s pace.
